The Town of Bermuda Run, NC tasked RKA with building a roundabout to serve as the gateway to the town. Having to account for historical property and while providing an array of services, RKA designed a beautiful single lane roundabout. Crosswalks and pedestrian facilities were constructed along Bermuda Run Drive and along the south side of US 158. Additional pedestrian facilities were constructed in accordance with the Town of Bermuda Run’s comprehensive Plan dated April 2012.
This is a Locally Administered Project Program (LAPP) project that was awarded the the American Council of Engineering Companies of North Carolina’s Engineering Excellence 2017 Honor Award.
