RKA was responsible for a campus-wide parking demand study for Roanoke College. The study came about due to the construction of the new Cregger Center, which will include a performance gym with a 2,500-seat capacity and a field house with a 200-meter indoor track. The Cregger Center is being constructed over an existing parking lot and, with the already short supply of parking, the University recognized the need for a parking demand study to identify the current and future parking needs for the College. The study included several recommendations for redistributing the parking supply for all permit users (visitor, student, faculty/staff, etc.), and identified areas where new surface lots could be constructed. RKA gave Roanoke college clarity on how to handle their temporary scarcity in parking to improve student and staff lives.
