Jeff Bragdon, PE, PMP Announced As RKA’s Director of Virginia

Ramey Kemp Associates (RKA) welcomes Jeff Bragdon, PE, PMP to our Richmond, VA office as the new Director.

Jeff brings more than 25 years of engineering and project management experience to RKA. Throughout his career, he managed quality and promoted collaboration across a diverse portfolio of projects and clients.

“It’s an exciting time to be in the transportation engineering industry in Virginia. I am dedicated to providing good, high quality projects for our clients, and I look forward to forging new partnerships and collaborations on behalf of RKA,” Jeff said about his new position.

His most recent role was for the Virginia Transportation Construction Alliance (VTCA) as Program Manager of Engineering Consultants and Associates, a position held since 2018. With VTCA, he served as the primary liaison between VTCA and Federal, State, and Locality contracting agencies to facilitate dialogues and improve procedures between industry and contracting agencies.

Earlier in his career, Jeff managed the Virginia Department of Transportation (VDOT)’s Hydraulics & Utilities Programming, ensuring administrative, budgetary, and technical efficiency for the better part of a decade.

Mr. Bragdon’s Highlights:

years of experience in commercial, residential, energy, environmental and public transportation planning, design, project management and construction.

years as the Program Manager of Engineering Consultants and Associates for the Virginia Transportation Construction Alliance (VTCA).

years as the State Hydraulics and Utilities Engineer at the Virginia Department of Transportation (VDOT).
